For most of my life, I’ve relied on my iPhone to store notes, tasks, reminders, and so on. But there’s something special about writing things down by hand.
For the past year or so, I’ve switched (almost) entirely to keeping these things in a Field Notes memo book instead. While it isn’t as convenient as dictating things into my iPhone, it’s a much more tactile and enjoyable experience.
I feel like an old man walking around the grocery store, scratching things off on my list, but I love it.
Sometimes the easiest solution isn’t the best solution.
