As the end of 2022 draws near, I figured it was appropriate to highlight the things that happened this year. All in all, it was quite an eventful year with many things to celebrate.

Here we go, in no particular order:

• Got a new job, said no to several others
• Left the continent for the first time
• Read over ten books (I lost count)
• Spent a lot of time with family
• Introduced Rey to the school bus
• Saw Drew’s first steps
• Heard her first words
• Visited Nashville
• Saw a Giants win in-person
• Rediscovered photography
• Went on a fishing trip with my Dad
• Went on several camping trips with Rey
• Supported my wife while she opened a restaurant
• Made pizza from scratch many times
• Got 3 pet shrimp which multiplied to over two dozen now
• Won $500 from a sports parley bet
• Ran 10KM with my Mom
• Watched every game of Rey’s first soccer season
• Discovered yoga

This year contained much to be grateful for and there’s even more I didn’t list. I’m thankful for what I’ve been given and can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store for our family (starting with a trip to Disneyland in the near future).
