This quote is from Oliver Burkeman in his book Four Thousand Weeks, an excellent read about productivity and time management.
What are my embarrassing hobbies? Here are a few:
- an unhealthy obsession with building Lego
- playing the guitar so poorly even I can’t stand the sound
- reading far too many self-help books
- writing poor poetry (which I will share someday)
All of those hobbies bring me joy and I truly do all of them for my own selfish reasons.
